Planetary ball - milling : an experimental parameter phase diagram
Résumé
Abstract In this paper, we report experimental investigations of the planetary ball-milling process parameters which determine the stationary dynamic end-product structure, i.e. the energy and frequency of the shocks as well as the mean temperature of the vials. Based on experiments performed using a newly designed ball-milling system which allows indenendent variation of the mean vaal temperature, a parameter phase diagram was obtained for ball-milled Ni10Zr7 and Ni11Zr9 intermetallic phases.
