Observations de la vitesse de propagation des vagues engendrées par le vent au large
Résumé
Measurements of the propagation velocity of ocean wind waves have been made. Two type of evolution of the velocity with respect to frequency have been found for two different observational conditions. The first one is very similar to that which has been observed during laboratory experiments ; the second one compares rather favourably with the prediction of linear theory.
