Particle contribution to the radiative heat transfer in a plasma reactor.
Résumé
Particles contribute quite significantly to radiative heat transfer in plasmas as generally known in high temperature processes. In this work, a model for including the particle contribution in the radiative heat transfer is described. The model, which was implemented in the commercial code Fluent, is applied to the study of a plasma reactor for hydrocarbon cracking and the effect of the presence of particles on the reactor up-scaling.
