With 3 IBiSA platforms (PISSARO, PRIMACEN, SCAC) and 2 establishments that use animals for scientific purposes, the « High-tech Research infrastructures for Life Sciences » (HeRacLeS) research infrastructure offers a continuum ranging from synthesis of a molecule of interest up to the study of its effects in vivo. HeRacLeS thus covers all the activities allowing the synthesis of peptides, the analysis of the expression of genes and proteins, localization by light and electron microscopy, the study of cellular and tissue activities as well as functional and behavioral explorations in animals.
