After a hiatus of a six years, the innovative HAID workshop is back in March 2019. We are delighted to welcome you in Lille, north of France, a dynamic city one hour away from three European capitals: Paris, Brussels and London.
The aim of HAID 2019 is to bring together researchers and practitioners interested in exploring how the haptic and audio modalities can be used together in human computer interaction.
Theme
While the workshop is still a meeting place for both the audio and haptics community in general, this year, we would like to emphasize on force feedback and music. There are many great examples of music systems and instruments using tactile feedback, but force feedback is still underused. We would like to engage discussions and exchange ideas on this particular topic in the workshop.
