Welcome in HAL Geosciences Montpellier collection

Geosciences Montpellier is a joint research unit, depending on the Centre National de Recherche scientifique - CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research), the University of Montpellier and the University of the French Antilles. It belongs to the Earth Sciences Observatory - Mediterranean Research Observatory of the Environment (OSU-OREME). Geosciences Montpellier combines all means of research and teaching in Earth Sciences in Montpellier. The mission of the laboratory is to develop new knowledge about the Earth’s dynamics and surface manifestations, taking into account the coupling between different envelopes (atmosphere, hydrosphere, crust, mantle). The objective is to improve understanding of geodynamic processes at different scales of time and space, and contribute to research on the prediction of natural hazards and resource management.
