CREN (EA 2661)
Created in 1985, the Centre de Recherche en Éducation de Nantes (CREN) is the education research laboratory of Nantes Université and Le Mans Université. Recognized by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR) since 1995, its goal is to cultivate research on training program design, multilingualism, education policies, school quality of life, and learning and values in education. As a multidisciplinary research laboratory, the CREN brings together about 50 researchers in Educational Science, Psychology, Sociology, Philosophy, Computer Science, Language Science, and Communication Science, as well as 70 PhD students.
